History
Nigel and his family migrated from the flat lands of Norfolk to the mountains of North Wales in 2001. Having previously cycle toured through Britain and western Europe, Nigel got himself a mountain bike in 2004 and took to the hills and trails of Gt Britain and Europe. Nigel and his spaniels Ashand one eyed Luna can often be found biking around one of the local MTB trails.
Nigel has Cytech qualifications in Cycle maintenance and is also aSMLTB qualified trail leader.
About Us
We now run the cycle hire out of the rear of Rumdoodles Cafe/Outdoor shop so you are welcome to browse or have a beverage if waiting for cycle rental.
Llanberis bike hire has been up and running for over 10 years - providing bike hire from Llanberis - the village at the foot of Snowdon, North Wales.
Services
While most of our bikes are hard tail mountain bikes, we also have a number of full-suspension bikes, children's bikes and 2 bike trailers.
We offer full day, half day and evening hire and are can provide a delivery and pick up service

Extremely cooperative, helpful and professional.
It was the first time my husband and I were going to bike together on a woodland trail, and it was my first time on a bike all together! The owner Nigel and his wife were super helpful and helping us select bikes and even the route more suited to our experience. they gave us a map, biking gloves, bikes of course, and a rucksack of essentials. The bikes were of great quality. Since we encountered several ups and down on the hills and had to change gears a lot and the bikes were perfect for first-timers like me, and more experienced ones, like my husband. Also, what we really appreciated was how it was Christmas time, and everything was closed for the holiday. But Nigel, understanding the situation, opened up just to help us out. How cool of him!
